In 2024, I stretched my branding and graphic design muscle by contributing to a local election campaign for Daniel “Danyo” Vizcarra. Not only was Daniel looking to differentiate himself from two incumbents, but he wanted his brand to reflect the fresh attitude of a Millennial entering politics: energetic, sentimental, and fresh. We avoided traditional American colours and language, already in use by the incumbents, as strong differentiators of attitude and approach.

Deep conversations and creative iteration led to the development of a full brand identity. Various forms of physical collateral were then envisioned for networking, supporters, and local events. I also developed Daniel’s website to meet his informational goals, allowing me to dig into the Webflow design tool for the first time.
